Coastguard and Ambulance called to help female in remote area of Ross Beach dunes
Howick Coastguard Rescue Team, Seahouses Coastguards and Berwick Coastguard Rescue Team were called at around 12.40pm on Sunday, December 8 to help a female casualty at the dunes at Ross Beach in Northumberland.
They were called with reports from the North East Ambulance Service who had requested assistance from HM Coastguard at a remote area of the dunes.
A stretcher was needed to help the person to safety.

Hide AdA spokesperson for Howick Coastguard Rescue Team said: “Once stabilised the teams carried the casualty to the waiting ambulance for further treatment and transport to hospital.
“We wish her a speedy recovery.”
