Burglary in Wooler sparks police investigation into stolen farm machinery
Shortly after 8.30am on January 28, Northumbria Police received a report of a burglary from a business on Brewery Road, Wooler.
It is currently believed the burglary took place between 5pm on Monday, January 27 and 8.30am on Tuesday, January 28.

Hide AdReports claimed that farm machinery had been stolen from the premises.
Items that are said to have been stolen include a red 2008 Massey Ferguson 6490 Tractor which was fitted with a blue Lemkem combination drill, a red 2015 Case CX55B Excavator and a green 2018 Polaris 570cc Sportsman Quad Bike.
An investigation has been launched into this incident and officers are now appealing for help with their inquiries.
A spokesperson for the Force said: “It is thought the stolen items were loaded onto the rear of a lorry and now officers are asking anyone with information, or who saw something suspicious in the area, to get in touch with police.”

Hide AdBusiness owners who own expensive equipment have been urged to invest in security systems such as CCTV and alarms and GPS tracker technology to help prevent and track thieves. They have also been warned to make a note of serial numbers and to photograph valuable equipment.
