Callum O’Neil Tumilty is beginning 26 weeks in jail after he was found guilty of stealing a Ford Mondeo and its keys from Widdington, near Morpeth, following a trial.
North Tyneside magistrates imprisoned him after labelling the July 9 offences “a breach of trust” and noting his previous convictions.

Hide AdTumily, 25, of no fixed address, was also ordered to pay his victim £1,550 compensation at a rate of £20 per month from the end of April next year, meaning the debt will not repaid until 2027.
He was sentenced to an identical jail term in September at Bedlington Magistrates’ Court after his mother inadvertently gave him away by ringing his mobile phone after he left it inside a school he had broken into on September 17.
Tumilty, then of South View, Cambois, admitted burgling Cambois First School, possession of cannabis and four counts of theft.
