Digital team looking to expand in Alnwick
The Works Digital, based at Linnet Court on Cawledge Business Park, was formed in 2014 and is now looking to take on web designers and developers.
The company was started after Tim Mather, originally director of Chocolate Grape, partnered with the directors – John Simpson, Barry Pollock and Ian Oswald – from The Works in Chester-le-Street.

Tim said: “I am really proud of what we have been able to achieve in the last couple of years and that is all down to our staff and the quality of the work we produce.
“As a result we are looking to expand the digital team in Alnwick and are on the lookout for web designers and developers. We often find it hard to find candidates locally, but ideally we want to stay up in Northumberland as it provides a great work/life balance for our staff, not only dodging the congestion associated with working in Newcastle but also providing beautiful surroundings to work in.
“Going forward as well as continuing to provide web design and development services, The Works is looking to expand into developing web-based software in a number of sectors, including education and HR.”
