This is what Northumberland Gazette readers think about working from home post-lockdown
and live on Freeview channel 276
Our lockdown survey, published across this title and 150 others across the UK last week, gives an insight into how the crisis has impacted people in Northumberland, and what they would like to see happen in the coming weeks and months.
In total we asked readers 25 questions on their attitude towards the lockdown, and of these two focused on how people feel about working from home.

Hide Ad26.34% of Gazette readers who completed our survey said they have had to work from home for the first time or to a much greater extent due to the coronavirus outbreak.
43.55% said they haven’t, while 30.11% said they were not sure or the question wasn’t applicable.
By comparison, on a national level, 40% answered that they haven’t, 34% said they have and 25% said this question wasn’t applicable.
We also asked to what extent readers would like to continue working from home - even after restrictions are lifted.

Hide Ad10.2% of Gazette readers who took part in the survey said ‘I’d like to work entirely from home’. 34.69% responded ‘I’d like to work from home most of the time’. 38.78% responded ‘I’d like to work from home some of the time’ while 14.29% said ‘I don’t want to work from home at all’.
Nationally, 43% answered ‘I’d like to work from home some of the time’, 25% answered ‘I’d like to work from home most of the time’, 18% said ‘I don’t want to work from home at all’ and 9% answered ‘I’d like to work entirely from home’.
