Appeal after car hits tree on A19 near Cramlington
Northumbria Police received a report just after 8pm on Saturday, January 2, of a collision on the A19 northbound between Moor Farm roundabout and Seaton Burn roundabout in Cramlington.
A white Ford car had been travelling north when, for reasons to be established, the car has come off the road and collided with a tree.
Police say that another vehicle also stopped at the scene.

Hide AdThe driver, a 35-year-old woman, was taken to hospital and is described as being in a stable condition having sustained serious injuries.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the serious collision, in particular from anyone who has any dashcam footage.
Sergeant Matt Sykes, from the Force’s Motor Patrols team, said: “This was a serious collision which has resulted in a woman being hospitalised.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge any motorists who were in the area at the time of this incident to get in touch if they saw anything, particularly those who might be in possession of any dashcam footage.

Hide Ad“We are also aware there may have been another road traffic collision on this stretch of road before this one took place, and we would also ask anyone with information about this to get in touch.”
