Hadston House offering help to those in need in Northumberland during pandemic
Hadston House continues to offer the new services that it introduced when the lockdown started back in March during the first wave of Covid-19.
Managing director Scott Dickinson said: “We know this has been a very difficult time, but I’m extremely grateful to and proud of our staff and volunteers who have kept providing services and even set up new ones to support older and vulnerable people during this difficult time.

Staff and volunteers at Hadston House can: Collect prescriptions, provide meals on wheels, make friendship calls, do essential shopping, collect food parcels, repair old items.
“Covid is, unfortunately, still with us and people might think we’re not there to help them,” Scott added. “But we are and we’re only a phone call away.
“Our staff and volunteers have adapted to new ways of working and, throughout the past months, they have continued to help and support people in our community.
