Rotary funding boost for many good causes
Money raised in charity events during the presidential year of Rotarian John Wilson was presented to international, national and local charities.
The charities presented with cheques were the RNLI, Seahouses Cancer Care, Seahouses Christmas Lights and the Freeman Hospital Heart Lung Charity.

Hide AdMoney was also provided for Mama A Mo Toto, a charity dealing with mothers and babies in Kenya, Mandell’s coffee shop Embleton, the international Rotary campaign End Polio Now, Rotary Foundation, Lavender Hill School, Cape Town, and the Kandy Appeal for an artificial limb centre in Sri Lanka.
Also benefiting were the Bobby Robson appeal, the Northumberland Mountain Rescue Team and the Newton Hall Charity fund.
