Northumberland set for soaring temperatures higher than Spain this week
The Met Office have forecast unseasonably warm weather across Northumberland this week with highs of 13C and spells of vitamin D.
Forecasters have predicted warmer temperatures and sunny outbreaks from Wednesday, February 24 which will be hotter than Madrid with highs of 10C.

Hide AdThe Met Office is predicting a rainy start to the week with outbreaks of heavy rain changing to cloud by lunchtime on Monday, February 22.
Conditions are expected to become more mild into the afternoon with some sunny spells and highs of 9C.
The Met Office said: “Monday will likely be similar to Sunday with some outbreaks of rain at times and partly cloudy skies, especially later on. Staying on the mild side as winds remain light. Maximum temperature of 10C.”
Cloudy conditions are predicted on Tuesday with light rain showers expected by late morning and a maximum temperature of 11C.

Hide AdWednesday is forecast to be the warmest day of the week with temperatures jumping to 13C but conditions remaining cloudy and mild.
Forecasters say temperatures will drop to 11C on Thursday but conditions will be clear with sunny outbreaks.
Friday is set to be clear with sunny spells and highs of 10C before changing to cloudy conditions by early evening.
In a statement online, the Met Office said: “During the last few days of February and the first week of March, many areas of the UK are likely to see more settled conditions.”
