Northumberland weather forecast: What the Met Office is predicting for the county this week

Met Office forecasters are predicting a week of warm temperatures across Northumberland – with plenty of sunshine to boot.
So it’s time to head out into the garden and fire up the barbecue to make the most of your week.

Hide AdThe latest predictions say that the best of the weather will arrive on Thursday, May 28 through to Sunday, May 31 with highs of 18°C, beaming sunshine and very little cloud.
But the run-up to the weekend will be mild too with forecasters expecting temperatures to be around 15°C or 16°C with sunny intervals.
In a round-up, the Met Office said: “Generally dry and settled weather through to the weekend with some long sunny spells, although sunshine rather hazy at times.
“Warm or very warm inland, but cooler around the coast.”
Forecasters add that Northumberland’s pollen count is expected to be low throughout this week, so that’s a bit of extra good news too!
