The ongoing coronavirus pandemic may have put paid to the usual plans for the popular Northumberland event – but the outbreak didn’t stop organisers from working hard to deliver something special.
Tireless planning has led to the creation of a three-day virtual festival, which will not only feature live performances but musical workshops and the chance to visit a virtual marketplace via Facebook.

Headline acts performing throughout the weekend include The Mighty Doonans, Merry Hell and The Tannahill Weavers, with music set to kick off from around 6pm each day.
Entertainment is expected to run until around 10.30pm.
Coronavirus restrictions have prompted the cancellation of live performances, festivals and music events across the globe.
But this year’s virtual festival in Alnwick means fans from across the world can tune in and support the performances from wherever they are.
