And roaming the grounds and getting up to mischief from June 1-4 will be a medieval funny man, Peterkin the Jester.
The Newcastle Garrison will be on hand too over June 5-6, bringing the history of the British and English Civil Wars alive in 17th century costumes with muskets, canon, and pistols.
The age of knights, lords, ladies, and maids is easy to imagine at Alnwick Castle and on June 19-20 Mark Vance will be offering his special sessions for anyone wanting to learn the arts of chivalry and combat in his Knight School.
